Lana Kim

Lana Kim is a veteran executive producer creating content across all platforms, including commercials, music videos, and narrative film. She co-founded the Los Angeles-based creative studio, Ways & Means, in 2012.

She recently produced the Sundance-premiering feature film, The Nowhere Inn, written by and starring St. Vincent and Carrie Brownstein. Her collaboration with Kenzo resulted in a series of branded short films with directors such as Ana Lily Amirpour, Natasha Lyonne, Carrie Brownstein, and Humberto Leon. Other commercial clients include Apple, Sonos, MoMA, Spotify, Dior, Nike, and more.

Prior to that, Lana spent nearly a decade at The Directors Bureau overseeing groundbreaking music videos for artists including Beck, Coldplay, Bob Dylan, Feist, Morrissey, Depeche Mode, Sia, and Beastie Boys, while working with such remarkable directors as Mike Mills, Roman Coppola, Sofia Coppola, Shynola, Patrick Daughters, and Nash Edgerton. 

Lana’s work has won numerous awards, including Cannes Lions, Clios, D&ADs, The One Show Awards, Webbys, and ADC Awards. She also proudly hosted The Lana Show, the cult-classic web show for music video lovers everywhere.
