Belén Garau

Belén Garau was born in Mallorca, Spain. She completed her film education in Los Angeles, and lived and worked in Madrid and Barcelona. She started in production as a runner and returned to her hometown after two decades, where she is the co-founder and managing director of The Local Production Company, a 5-year old full service production company operating on the Mediterranean island. She is also on the board of the Balearic Islands service industry association (The Base) and her twins keep her busy after work.
